PRESENTATION
It aIl started in Belgium in 1947. At that time the small family business only focused on manufacturing ready-made shirts: An activity which is referred to in French as "confection", hence the "confect" in Confect Schockaert.
The company grew larger over the years. ln the 1960's, heavy textile soldier equipment was added to the production range. By the 1970's the company was already specialised in textile products such as bulletproof vests.
ln the mid 1980's we diversified into injection moulding. We perfected the unique process of moulding plastic parts directly onto webbing and narrow woven fabrics. With this we filled the market need for high quality fasteners and buckles for the military in the heavy textile range. The range of injection moulded products soon expanded and is now our main source of production.
As quality is of key importance for us, we are proud to mention that our company is ISO 9001: 2000 certified, the NATO Quality Standard containing ISO 9002 ED. 2.
Our company is specialized in the manufacturing of heavy duty belts and trouserbelts for large organisations which require their personel to wear a uniform, such as the police and the military.
Our buckles are attached to the webbing - usually polyester - by means of injection moulding and are of various types such as quick-releases, male-and-female buckles and buckles with flap.
Made to last, our new generation trouserbelts and its accessories combine quality, strength and style. They can be used in workwear or can be personalised with a metal emblem to suit any uniform.
